Welcome to the Bell County Clerk birth and death certificate online ordering system. Online requests will be processed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This is an official request for an aspect of the Bell County Clerk's Office. The information contained in this request should be considered private. Please complete all information in full and then finalize the order process through payment of the 'order fee'.
You will be notified by email when your document is ready for pick-up.
The fee payment will be paid through Permitium Payments. The charge will show on your credit card statement as 'PermVitalRecs'. This is a secure and trusted provider of payment services.
Please note the following:
- Birth records for Bell County and surrounding areas are available back to 1906.
- The Bell County Clerk's Office maintains long form birth certificates for individuals born in Belton, Harker Heights, Killeen, Fort Hood, and rural Bell County. To request a long form birth certificate for a birth occurring in Temple starting in 1950, please contact the City of Temple.
- Death Records are available only for decedents who pass within the Bell County limits, with the exception of the City of Temple. City of Temple holds all death certificates for the City of Temple starting in 1950.
